Trip Overview

One of the best view short days trek
Trek to Poonhill, Ghorepani and beautiful and typical Gurung village Ghandruk
Fantastic Views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Range from Poon hill and en-route.

One of the great experience of trekking close to Annapurna Massif makes this holiday great with scenic villages, cultural communities and panoramic views of mountains. Trail goes through the rhododendron forests which is the national flower of Nepal with magnificent flora and fauna. One of the most highlights of the trip is the sunrise view from the very famous Poon Hill with excellent panoramic views of the Great Annapurna Range.

Most perfect of all, this route is magical Combination of excellent trekking, warm hearted friendly villagers and outstanding Western Great Himalayan views. North of Pokhara, one of the finest of Himalayan journeys is the classic trek with stunning views of Himalayas, Villages, people and Culture. We encounter with the picture perfect sub-tropical forest teeming with wild life, pretty villages with neatly terraced rice fields, and pleasant ridge walking with spectacular Himalayan panoramas.

Short and relatively straightforward trekking holiday designed to appeal to those who wish to see the spectacular scenery of the Annapurna Range and Dhaulagiri of Great Himalaya without camping and without great altitude issues. Our most extreme point of overnight halt is at Ghorepani (2900m) and the highest point of the trek is the top of Poon hill (3210m). The gradual ascent to middle altitude in fact that not high throughout will ensure that nobody has a problem with altitude but the trails are either steeply up or down and will generally be 4 and 6 hours walking each day.

This is popular trekking route with good trail paths and options to choose among numerous lodges and tea-houses.

Excellent company and Satisfied our every request

My first contact with Nepal was with our guide called Dhawa. From the first day he was very helpful and very friendly. What impressed us the most was, how well he knows the history of his Country. There was no question he did not know how to answer and the places he had not been. At the same time, he was excellent company and satisfied our every request. Every recommendation for my favorite guide....
